Red Deer Primary Care Network (RDPCN) is seeking motivated, compassionate practicum students for upcoming placement terms. We offer comprehensive, hands-on learning streams for students currently enrolled in nursing programs or graduate-level mental health counselling tracks (Psychology or Master of Social Work).
This placement bridges classroom theory with clinical reality. Under direct, professional supervision, you will support diverse populations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and build the foundational skills required for your future career.
Please be aware that we require an application to be submitted at least 3 months prior to the proposed start date of the practicum placement.
In the event that multiple individuals apply for the same time period, the RDPCN will hold an interview process to determine the candidate to accept for placement.
