Our client - A large industrial organization based out of Pickering - is looking to hire a Project Manager - Cyber Security for a 1 year contract position. This is a hybrid position - 2 days/week on-site in Pickering.
Job Overview
The Cybersecurity team is seeking an experienced IT Security Sr. Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic cybersecurity initiatives across the enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex cybersecurity initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across business, technology, risk, compliance, procurement, and external vendor teams. The Project Manager will work closely with program sponsors, cybersecurity leaders, business representatives, and technical subject matter experts to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and governance requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex IT and cybersecurity projects in large enterprise environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
- Experience with project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and competing priorities.
- Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Experience delivering cybersecurity initiatives such as Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Compliance, Data Protection, Cloud Security, Cyber Resilience, or related programs.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance practices.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries is considered an asset.
