Role Summary
5C is a full-stack AI digital infrastructure provider that designs, develops, and operates scalable AI factories and purpose-built data center campuses engineered for speed, density, reliability, sustainability, and long-term performance across North America.
As 5C builds its Facility Engineering function, this role establishes the programs, standards, and operating rhythm that turn engineering activity into a disciplined, measurable system. The Senior Facility Engineering Program Lead owns the reliability program, engineering change control, incident governance, and the lessons-learned loop - converting incident, alarm, and maintenance data into prioritized corrective investment and better standards across the live portfolio.
How We Work at 5C
Our core values guide how we collaborate, make decisions, support one another, and serve our customers. We're looking for people who embrace them and help us build something great.
What You Will Do
- Lead the facility reliability program by defining performance metrics, managing risks, monitoring recurring issues, and tracking corrective actions across the portfolio.
- Lead the technical governance of operational facilities, including engineering change control, operational procedure management (MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs), failure mode analyses, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
- Oversee incident management and technical escalations by directing root cause analyses (RCAs), risk review and acceptance processes, and the implementation and closure of corrective actions.
- Coordinate engineering portfolio performance by overseeing projects, studies, and corrective initiatives; producing executive reports on reliability and risk; and promoting the sharing of lessons learned among operations, development, and leadership teams.
What You Bring.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
- 8+ years in critical facilities, with demonstrated program ownership (reliability, incident governance, or change control).
- Proven success building KPIs, risk registers, RCA/corrective-action programs, and engineering change control.
- Strong data orientation - able to turn CMMS, alarm, and EPMS data into prioritized action.
- Excellent written communication and executive-ready reporting; strong cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Strong project / program management skills - planning, scheduling, tracking, and driving cross-functional work to completion.
