The Senior Technical Analyst plays a key role in IT project execution, infrastructure management, and client support. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled, hands-on professional with a strong background in Windows Server, Azure, and IT networking. The role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can effectively manage technical solutions, provide advanced troubleshooting, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Technical Expertise & Project Execution: Plan, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions, including virtualization, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Client Support & Issue Resolution: Serve as a senior escalation point for complex IT issues, working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure high-quality support.
- MSP Operations & System Monitoring: Utilize RMM, PSA, and security platforms to proactively maintain client IT environments, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure IT systems comply with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity best practices.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Develop technical documentation, refine IT processes, and implement automation solutions.
- Collaboration & Team Development: Work alongside account managers and technical teams to align IT services with business objectives and support long-term client success.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE), Azure, ITIL, or PMP are an asset.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work versatile schedules including rotating on-call for after hour emergency calls, etc.
- Ability to work in office daily, with the flexibility to work from home when working on-call. (This is not a formal hybrid work position)
Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including server, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience within an MSP or IT service provider environment.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure cloud services.
- Proficiency in networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, security best practices).
- Ability to manage IT infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and automation tools.

- Proficiency in IT security & monitoring tools – Knowledge of RMM, PSA, EDR/MDR, MFA, and cybersecurity best practices.
Base Salary: $75,000-100,000+ per year
- Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
- Full benefits package, including health coverage, professional development support, and performance-based incentives.
Work Hours:
- Full-time, Monday – Friday.
- Participation in on-call rotation for critical incident response is required.
