- Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
- Project cash flow and financing requirements
- Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms
- Utilize quantity take-off procedures
- Advise on tendering procedures
- Analyze tenders and recommend awards
- Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed labor and material cost estimates, bids, and economic feasibility studies for various construction projects. Liaise with engineers, architects, and contractors to monitor expenditures and adjust cost estimates as needed.
Requirements
Requires a college or CEGEP diploma in civil or construction engineering technology with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Must possess a valid driver's licence and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project.
