Laundry Attendant
Tofino, BC Full-time $19.50-$23.00/hour
Hotel Zed Tofino is currently looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our dynamic, totally unique, and rebellious team.
Why Us
Working at Hotel Zed is different than working anywhere else. And that is a really good thing. So, if you enjoy having fun at work (and doing a great job at the same time!), bring a healthy dose of humour to your job (we draw the line at super soaker spray guns!) and have a can-do, flexible attitude come join the Hotel Zed family!
At Hotel Zed we care about our staff. Here’s how we show it:
- Two scholarship programs; one for you and one for your family
- Two free room nights a year at any of our properties
- Benefit Plan, including Extended Health, Dental and more after 6 months
- Employee Family Assistance Program
- Peer Recognition Program
What You Do
As a Likable Laundry Attendant, you are detail oriented to make sure that each sheet and towel is spotlessly clean, folded, sorted, and ready on time for the Room Attendants to prepare the rooms for our guests. You strive for higher efficiency and standards. You value the environment and help us lower our footprint by ensuring that the machines are working at top efficiency. You spot any tears or permanent stains and help us give back by sorting the linens for donation.
You are happy working on your own and managing your progress, but you also value your teammates and clear communication. You help the hotel provide top notch service for every guest with a clean and comfy bed.
What You Need
- Fun loving nature
- Spidey sense for stains and tears
- An eagle eye for details
- Able to happily work on your own
- Value a daily routine and a physical job
- Able bodied and capable of lifting and pushing heavy loads
