Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time hybrid position based in Brantford, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. The Sales Manager will oversee the full sales cycle for pharmaceutical equipment solutions, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and closing deals. This role involves managing and growing relationships with key accounts, coordinating with internal technical and service teams to develop tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The Sales Manager will analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to sales forecasts and strategic planning. Day-to-day activities also include maintaining accurate CRM records, preparing regular sales reports, participating in industry events or trade shows, and supporting the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in B2B sales, account management, and business development within technical or industrial environments.
- Experience with consultative selling, solution-based sales, and negotiating complex contracts.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical product features, preferably related to pharmaceutical or manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM), pipeline management, and data-driven sales reporting.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities.
- Background in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or equipment manufacturing sector is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
