Role Description
Advantage Insurance Brokers is looking for a full-time Insurance Broker to join our Balcarres, Saskatchewan office.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to understand their insurance needs, provide professional advice, and secure appropriate coverage.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Meeting with clients and assessing their insurance needs and risk profiles
- Preparing quotes and explaining coverage options
- Processing new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
- Responding to client inquiries and providing ongoing policy support
- Assisting clients with claims-related questions
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
- Working with insurance carriers and staying current on available products and coverage
- Contributing to the growth of the Balcarres office through referrals, networking, and excellent customer service
Qualifications
- CAIB Level 2 or Level 3 is required
- Saskatchewan insurance licensing in good standing
- Experience in personal and/or commercial insurance is an asset
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Comfortable working with insurance management systems, office software, documentation, and regulatory requirements
