The African Canadian Development & Prevention Network is urgently seeking a lawyer or notary to lead a free, community-based legal information workshop as part of our partnership with Éducaloi, a Quebec legal information nonprofit organization.
What you'll do:
- Deliver one plain-language legal information session (60–90 minutes) to community members.
- Ready made materials as your guide ,no need to create content from scratch
- Answer general audience questions in an accessible, non-legal-advice format
Session date (tentative and open to changing based on availability) :
- September 11, 2026 - Family Law Basics for Couples
Who we're looking for:
- Licensed lawyer or notary
- Comfortable presenting general legal information to a lay audience (this is public legal education, not individual legal advice)
- Strong communicator, patient with questions from non-legal audiences
