Role Description The Senior Project Manager (Contract) will lead end-to-end installation of doors and related activities in an on-site capacity based in Vancouver BC. This full-time contract role includes planning timelines, and budgets; coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients; and ensuring materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on schedule. The person in this role will oversee expediting activities, manage logistics, and conduct or coordinate inspections to confirm quality, safety, and compliance with specifications. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, resolving issues, preparing status updates, and maintaining accurate documentation.

- Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess expediting skills to manage procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Candidates should possess inspection skills to verify work quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess logistics management skills to oversee transportation, inventory, and on-site material handling.
- Several years of experience managing construction, industrial, or commercial installation projects in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency with project management software, documentation tools, and basic digital communication platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and risk management awareness.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field is an asset.
- Relevant certifications (e.g.: PMP or equivalent) and familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards are beneficial.
