Role Description The Customer Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Ajax, ON. In this position, the representative responds to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, providing information about auto and home insurance products and policy details. The role involves assisting clients with quotes, policy changes, billing questions, and claim-related guidance, while ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience. The representative will document interactions, follow up on outstanding issues, and coordinate with brokers and insurers to resolve customer concerns. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, supporting office operations, and contributing to a respectful, collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Experience in providing Customer Support and managing Customer Experience in a client-facing environment.
- Previous experience as Customer Service Representatives or in a similar role in insurance, financial services, or related fields is an asset.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain insurance concepts in accessible language.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting.
- Comfort with using computer systems, CRM tools, and learning insurance-related software.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Ajax, ON, and maintain a respectful, inclusive attitude toward colleagues and clients.
