Role Description The Insurance Broker role at Al Hattie Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in Saskatoon, SK. The Insurance Broker will advise clients on personal and commercial insurance products, including home, tenant, condo, auto, business, farm, and crop hail insurance, and help them select appropriate coverage. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client needs, preparing quotes, processing new policies and renewals, and handling policy changes and claims-related inquiries. The role involves providing in-person customer service, explaining policy terms and coverage options in clear language, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Insurance Broker will collaborate with insurance carriers, maintain accurate documentation, and support the office with related services such as driver licensing and coordination with the Notary Public when needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with experience advising on personal and commercial lines coverage.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to build trusting client relationships.
- Provincial insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain) and familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and proficiency with office and insurance management software.
- Ability to work on-site in Saskatoon, SK, in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple client requests efficiently.
- Prior experience in an insurance brokerage, financial services, or related field is an asset.
