ABOUT THE ROLE
All Ways of Caring Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs) / Caregivers to join our team in Rosthern and surrounding communities.
In this role, you will provide personalized, one-on-one care to clients in their own homes. Your support will help clients maintain their safety, comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life while remaining in a familiar environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide compassionate, person-centred care based on each client’s individual needs.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Support clients with mobility and daily routines as required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and other appropriate household tasks.
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or needs.
- Maintain respectful and professional communication with clients, families, and the care team.
- Follow established care plans, safety procedures, and organizational policies.
- Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Travel to client homes throughout Rosthern and surrounding communities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- CCA certification or equivalent healthcare training preferred.
- Previous experience in home care, caregiving, or healthcare is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Reliable access to a vehicle.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client homes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful approach to care.
- Ability to work independently while following established care plans and procedures.
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.
