Responsibilities
Operate electromyography equipment to assess electrical activity in muscles and identify disease or denervation. Assess patient capabilities and limitations, adjust practices as needed, and evaluate clinical information while working independently in a fast-paced clinic.
Requirements
Applicants must be registered as an EMG Technician with BRET(C) and AETC registration and have basic knowledge of the nervous system, anatomy, and physiology. Experience operating electromyography equipment is required; current BCLS and ACLS are assets, and strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and time-management skills are expected.
