Role Description The ITAD Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. This role manages client relationships for IT asset disposition (ITAD) services, including asset recovery, data destruction, and refurbishing solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying client ITAD needs, preparing proposals and quotes, coordinating pick-ups and logistics, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with data security and environmental requirements. The ITAD Account Manager will maintain regular communication with clients, track account performance, handle inquiries or issues, and collaborate with operations, logistics, and refurbishing teams to align service delivery with client expectations. This role also involves prospecting new business opportunities, maintaining accurate CRM records, and providing reporting and documentation related to asset management and data destruction services.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in account management, client service, or sales within IT, logistics, or related industries.
- Knowledge of IT asset disposition (ITAD), asset lifecycle management, or electronics recycling, including basic understanding of data destruction and refurbishing processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to manage client expectations and drive new business.
- Ability to coordinate projects, manage multiple accounts, and work cross-functionally with operations and logistics teams.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and standard office software to track assets, activities, and performance metrics.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data privacy, regulatory compliance, and environmentally responsible practices.
- Prior experience in B2B environments or working with corporate, government, or institutional clients is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in business, IT, operations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Mississauga, ON and occasionally visit client locations as needed.
