Amaircare is a proudly Canadian manufacturer of premium air filtration systems, with all products designed and manufactured in Ontario. For over 30 years, we have helped residential, commercial, industrial and public sector customers improve indoor air quality through high-performance air filtration solutions.
Our manufacturing operation includes metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, filter production, assembly, inventory management, and order fulfillment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, improve our processes, and support the continued development of our products.

About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer will support Amaircare's manufacturing operations through process improvement, quality initiatives, certification management, problem-solving, and engineering support.
Reporting to company leadership and working closely with operations, production, sales, and customer service teams, you will help ensure our products are manufactured efficiently, meet quality expectations, and comply with applicable certification and regulatory requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving processes, supporting production teams, and helping bring practical solutions from concept through implementation.
Success will be measured by improvements in manufacturing performance, product quality, certification compliance, operational efficiency, and your contribution to Amaircare's continued growth.
In this Role, you will:
- Improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and engineering records.
- Manage product testing, certifications, regulatory compliance, and technical documentation across target markets.
- Support custom applications, engineering changes, and customer technical requirements.
- Partner with operations and production teams to improve consistency, performance, and quality.
- Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify and implement process improvements.
- Evaluate manufacturing technologies, equipment, and tooling that support operational excellence.
- Provide technical support to production, operations, sales, and customer service teams.
In your first year, success will be measured by:
- Improved manufacturing consistency, efficiency, and process control through disciplined documentation, standardized work instructions, and continuous process improvement.
- Successful management of product certifications and regulatory requirements.
- Strong collaboration between engineering, operations, and production teams.

What Will Help You Succeed
We're more interested in finding the right person than checking every box. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, and motivated by solving real-world engineering challenges. They recognize that disciplined documentation is a competitive advantage, using both current and historical engineering records to accelerate learning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Experience in any combination of the following would be considered an asset:
- Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Design, or related technical disciplines.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting processes, quality systems, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with regulatory certifications, compliance programs, and product testing.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication, electro-mechanical assemblies, HVAC equipment, filtration systems, appliances, or related products.
- Experience developing technical drawings using SolidWorks, manufacturing documentation, and bills of materials.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Most importantly, you are someone who enjoys understanding how products are built, finding ways to make them better, and helping manufacturing teams succeed.
Work Environment
- Full-time position based in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Primarily an in-person role with regular interaction across production, engineering, and operations teams. Regular presence on the manufacturing floor is expected.
- Occasional travel for testing, certification activities, supplier visits, conferences, or training may be required.
