Role Description The Project Manager role at AMBICO Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Ottawa, ON. The Project Manager will oversee door and frame projects from initiation to completion, coordinating schedules, budgets, resources, and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include managing project timelines, liaising with clients, engineers, production staff, and logistics teams, and ensuring that products meet technical specifications and industry standards. The role involves monitoring progress, identifying and resolving issues, preparing status reports, and supporting expediting and inspection activities to keep projects on track. The Project Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing project outcomes and recommending enhancements to processes and communication.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to manage timelines, follow up on deliverables, and ensure on-time project completion.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify product quality, technical compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate shipping, material flow, and delivery schedules.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, construction, or building products is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities are required.
- Proficiency with project management software and MS Office is an asset.
- A post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field is preferred.
