AMIA Health is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation organization providing expert-led, evidence-based care that helps Canadians build, regain, and maintain function in the tasks, roles, and routines that matter to them.

Our occupational therapists, psychologists, kinesiologists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, and clinical counsellors work as one team. Whether someone is recovering from an injury, managing a chronic or mental health condition, supporting a child's development, adapting to a disability, or planning for the future, our focus is the same: what a person needs to do, and what it will take to get there. No physician referral is required.

What we do

• Rehabilitation and treatment: function-focused programs for adults across the lifespan • Pediatric services: helping children and adolescents participate at home, at school, and in play • Speech-language pathology: speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing, across all ages • Mental health services: psychology and clinical counselling for anxiety, depression, trauma, pain, and adjustment, integrated with the care plan • Medical-legal assessments: functional capacity evaluations and cost of future care reports that give lawyers, insurers, and case managers objective, defensible evidence • Driving assessments and rehabilitation for drivers of all ages • Return-to-work and workplace programs that support safe, sustainable transitions

Who we serve

Individuals and families, personal injury lawyers, insurers and adjusters, employers, and health providers. We direct-bill ICBC, WorkSafeBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, and many extended health plans.
