The Opportunity
The HR Systems Coordinator will provide hands-on support as Amii transitions its human resources information and payroll processes. Reporting to the Vice President, People and Culture, you will help migrate employee information accurately, securely and on schedule while supporting recruitment, onboarding and other People and Culture priorities as needed.
You will collaborate with People and Culture, Finance, IT, Workplace Services and hiring leaders across Amii. This is a practical, detail-focused role for someone who enjoys improving how systems and processes work behind the scenes.
What you will doHR systems migration and management
- Extract, organize and prepare employee and payroll information for migration.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, consistency and duplication before it is moved.
- Enter, upload and map employee data and records, then validate them against source information.
- Support system testing across employee profiles, workflows, permissions and reports.
- Maintain migration trackers and documentation and support post-migration data cleanup and stabilization.
Recruitment and onboarding support
- Coordinate assigned pre-employment and onboarding activities, documentation and system entries.
- Work with hiring leaders, IT, Workplace Services and People and Culture to support a smooth start for new team members.
People and Culture operations
- Maintain employee records, templates, trackers and other People and Culture documentation, including routine HRIS updates and basic reporting.
- Document updated processes and create practical guides for the new systems.
- Assist with time-sensitive projects and operational priorities while keeping the systems transition on track.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, office administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience supporting HR administration, HRIS data maintenance, recruitment coordination, onboarding or a similar people operations function.
- Experience working with confidential employee information and applying sound judgment when handling sensitive records.
- Strong digital skills, including confidence working with spreadsheets, shared documents and cloud-based systems.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP, SAP, Humi, Payworks or SuccessFactors is an asset, as is previous involvement in a system implementation or data migration.
