About
Angler Solutions is a St. John's-based engineering consulting firm focused on early-phase feasibility, project assessment, and energy systems modelling, with direct involvement in large-scale energy and resource development projects. The firm has active projects across Atlantic Canada and Europe alongside international partners, with further national and international markets in view.
Angler works across four key sectors: renewable energy, energy diversification, ocean technology, and upstream resources. We work with developers, regulators, utilities, industry associations, and government, on complex projects spanning onshore and offshore wind, carbon capture and storage, offshore oil and gas development and decommissioning, and green fuels development. Our work is project-driven, client-facing, and focused on delivering clear, actionable outcomes at the early stages of development.
Angler's culture is grounded in respect, collaboration, and a strong commitment to supporting one another, with a team of 30+ representing eight nationalities.
The Opportunity
This is a senior role on Angler's Senior Management Team, created to give focused leadership to corporate strategy and growth as the firm scales internationally. It combines Angler's strategic planning process and evaluation of growth and investment opportunities with day-to-day ownership of the firm's commercial pipeline.
This role sets Angler's strategic direction and drives business development, while coordinating closely with the SMT functions responsible for delivering on that strategy.
