The salary range for this position is CAD $64,515 – CAD $85,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

What the day will look like
As a key member of the CPG team, you will act as a trusted partner to clients, insurers, and internal customers while leading all aspects of a collection of commercial insurance accounts.
Distinctive Client Value
- Serving as an integral part of the CPG Team, provides all levels of client contact on assigned accounts
- Servicing existing programs and responding to new business inquiries
- Analyzing and defining the risk exposure and coverage for assigned accounts and new business
- Providing continuing service to existing clients, renewal of policy documents, submissions, proposals and advice on policy changes
- Acting as a liaison between client, insurers and Aon branches, handling questions and general inquiries and preparing all related correspondence
- Proactively sell and cross‑sell insurance products to achieve individual and team sales
Operational Excellence
- Managing all information needed to take an application, prepare quotations, calculate premiums, bind coverage, and oversee billing processes
- Assisting with correspondence, client insurance summaries, promotional material, reports and presentations
- Contact underwriters and negotiating the best terms and conditions, premiums and coverage
- Processing related information/documentation in Xpress & Epic systems
Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- RIBO licence required
- CAIB and/or CIP designation (or actively working toward completion) is considered an asset
- 3+ years of commercial insurance experience managing a portfolio of commercial clients
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Professional presence with sound business insight
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and services
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with AI-enabled technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, and the ability to bring to bear digital tools effectively in the workplace
