Job Title: Senior ServiceNow SPM Consultant
Location: Montreal, South Shore
Additional Information:
- Part-time engagement, 15 hours per week for 4 months.
- Onsite attendance required for workshops, approximately 3 days during the contract.
- Fluency in French is mandatory.
Candidate Requirements
The candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered for the internal selection process:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
- Recent experience implementing or enhancing the ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module.
- Excellent understanding of portfolio management, project management, demand management, and prioritization processes.
- Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and guide or challenge managers in adopting the SPM tool.
- Good understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in organizational transformation or implementation of project management tools is an asset.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Previous involvement in an end-to-end ServiceNow SPM implementation.
- Ability to challenge and optimize existing project management processes.
- Experience as a Functional Consultant in project management, supporting a PMO (Project Management Office) or Project Management Bureau is an asset.
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Senior ServiceNow SPM Consultant to contribute to a major ServiceNow platform enhancement and optimization project within a large organization in the transportation sector.
Role Overview
- Support business stakeholders in defining their requirements using the ServiceNow SPM tool.
- Facilitate discovery and requirements-gathering workshops.
- Advise stakeholders on ServiceNow SPM best practices.
- Participate in defining and optimizing portfolio, program, and project management processes.
- Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams during configuration and implementation activities.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and the ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module.
We are looking for an expert in project management and/or a Business or Functional Analyst with recent and strong experience in the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module. The consultant will support the implementation and adoption of the solution among project managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in planning, preparing, and facilitating SPM discovery workshops with stakeholders.
- Support project managers in adopting and using processes enabled by ServiceNow SPM.
- Gather, analyze, and document business needs and functional requirements.
- Advise teams on best practices for portfolio, project, and demand management within ServiceNow SPM.
- Ensure alignment between business processes and the capabilities offered by the platform.
- Translate user needs into clear functional requirements for the implementation team.
- Participate in configuration validation and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Contribute to training, change management, and knowledge transfer activities.
- Act as the primary functional point of contact between business users, project managers, and the implementation team.
