AprilVets Fredericton is an innovative small animal hospital dedicated to creating an elevated healthcare experience for our vet team, clients, and patients. As an independent, veterinary-led clinic, we are looking to foster long-term relationships with our team members. Our clinic boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere where every pet, client, and team member feels valued.
As our client base continues to grow, we are adding an Associate Veterinarian to our established team. This is a growth opportunity, not a replacement position. You'll join a skilled team with an existing caseload, experienced RVT support, and workflows that allow you to focus on patient care. New graduates are welcome to apply, although experience in small animal practice is preferred.
What You'll Do
- Provide wellness, preventive, and medical care for companion animals
- Perform routine surgeries and dentistry
- Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
- Educate clients and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with our RVTs and support team to deliver exceptional patient care
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation based on experience
- Flexible 4 or 5-day work week
- No after-hours emergency on-call
- Medical benefits, professional dues, liability insurance, and CE support
- Four weeks paid vacation and five paid sick days
- Employee discounts and annual scrub allowance
- Supportive team culture and a state-of-the-art facility
If you're looking to join a practice where your voice is valued and you can build lasting relationships with clients and patients, we'd love to hear from you.
