About the Role
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Part-Time Delivery Driver plays an important role in supporting Aquatera’s operations by ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of materials, supplies, equipment, and documents between Aquatera facilities and local suppliers throughout Grande Prairie. This role requires a dependable individual with strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver parts, inventory, consumables, and materials between Aquatera locations and local suppliers.
- Transport internal mail and documentation between Aquatera facilities.
- Complete emergency pickups and deliveries as required during business hours.
- Transport test samples from the Water Treatment Plant to laboratories within Grande Prairie.
- Pick up Styrofoam from the landfill and deliver it to the Eco-Centre.
- Deliver and ship tools for repairs, maintenance, and certification.
- Maintain the Purchasing Department delivery vehicle and report any maintenance concerns.
- Accurately track and document deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of driving-related experience preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a satisfactory driving record.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for basic communication and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple delivery priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices.
- Professional, reliable, and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions.

Conditions of Employment
- Legally entitled to work in Canada without limitations
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Pass 50 lb. fitness test
- Pass comprehensive drug and alcohol test
