Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking a Cook for the Food Services Department at John Abbott College in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.

LOCATION: John Abbott College (21 275 Lakeshore Road, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC H9X 3L9)
POSITION: Cook
SALARY: $21.11/hour
SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (following the academic calendar)

START DATE: August 2026

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and cook the daily menu according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
Responsible for preparing and setting up the salad bar
Ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction.
Cook and finish items on the menu.
Participate in station setup.
Help optimize food costs.
Monitor and record food temperatures.
Prepare food items for catering events.
Participate in ordering and inventory processes.
Assist with organizing and storing deliveries according to established standards.
Ensure proper food rotation at service stations and when receiving orders.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in promoting various marketing and promotional initiatives.
Perform any other related duties required to support food service operations.

Qualifications

2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is considered an asset.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is an asset.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under supervision.
Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
Positive attitude, punctuality, honesty, and good judgment.
Customer service oriented.
Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset and will be highly considered.
