Responsabilities :
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative plays a key role in order management and customer satisfaction.
- Enter and validate customer orders, including feasibility, availability, allocations, the need for a product study, creation of SAP material codes, and price validation and accuracy; prepare price approval requests for special agreements;
- Respond to customer calls and emails and communicate with customers regarding delays or issues related to their orders;
- Provide customers with order status updates;
- Monitor shipments and ensure delivery timelines are met;
- Participate in internal and external sales-related audits;
- Collaborate with various departments on transformation and optimization projects;
- Monitor production;
- Establish shipping priorities as required and follow up with the plants;
- Collaborate with the Credit Department to validate the feasibility of shipments;
- Receive, analyze and follow up on customer complaints related to logistics, transportation and sales, involving the appropriate departments through to resolution;
- Coordinate customer complaints with the Quality team, including arranging the return of defective material;
- Manage customer requirements based on forecasts, inventory levels and minimum required quantities;
- Contribute to achieving the business unit’s commercial objectives and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Support compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 quality standards.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or another relevant field, combined with experience in administration or customer service;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset;
- French language skills are considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively with large volumes of data;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and organize work efficiently;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external partners;
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP;
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety by promoting safe work practices and incorporating ArcelorMittal’s 10 Golden Rules into daily activities.
