ARCH Psychological Services Inc. is seeking a highly organized and exceptionally detail-oriented individual with a bachelor’s degree in psychology to support our psychological assessment and clinical services. This newly created, entry-level position is particularly well suited to a recent psychology graduate seeking practical exposure to psychological assessment and clinical practice. The role combines psychological assessment support, clinical administration, and general administrative responsibilities. You will work closely with psychologists, clinical leadership, and administrative staff and receive training in our assessment systems and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology (education in a closely related discipline may be considered when supported by directly relevant experience).
Excellent written English skills, including strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading ability.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and consistently identify errors, omissions, discrepancies, and inconsistencies.
Organized, accurate, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and detail-intensive work.
Follow standardized procedures and detailed, multi-step instructions consistently.
Exercise sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
Communicate professionally, take initiative, respond well to feedback, and are genuinely interested in learning psychological terminology, assessment procedures, and scoring platforms.
Previous experience in psychological assessment, mental health, health care, clinical administration, psychological testing, or computerized scoring is an asset but is not required.
Responsibilities:
Support psychological assessments: Assist psychologists with the administrative preparation, coordination, and completion of psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
Enter and score assessment data: Accurately enter data into computerized testing platforms, complete scoring according to standardized procedures, and generate reports for psychologist review.
Proofread assessment reports: Review reports for grammar, spelling, formatting, consistency, completeness, and adherence to established templates.
Prepare assessment materials: Organize testing packages, protocols, questionnaires, response booklets, rating scales, and secure electronic links.
Track assessment documentation: Monitor questionnaires, records, consent forms, and other outstanding components required to complete assessments.
Maintain testing resources: Organize the psychological testing library, monitor supplies, and identify materials that need to be ordered, replenished, or replaced.
Support client intake and communication: Gather required information and documentation, coordinate assessment requirements, and communicate professionally with clients and referral sources.
Provide clinical and general administrative support: Assist with templates, forms, procedures, reception coverage, marketing, communications, and other administrative tasks supporting clinic operations.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy: Handle psychological, health, and personal information with discretion while consistently following established procedures.
Develop within the role: Learn new assessment systems and procedures and take on additional responsibilities as competence and organizational needs develop.
