We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake, AWS, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, ETL, CDC, and cloud data engineering. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Snowflake experience and hands-on experience delivering Snowflake projects on AWS, preferably within the Indian financial services/finance industry.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake development
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, security/access controls, and Active Directory integration
- Experience with Snowpipe, COPY INTO, AWS Glue and large/incremental data ingestion
- Strong ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, CDC, and metadata-driven processing experience
- Experience designing DWH models, RDBMS, transactional and analytical databases
- Knowledge of data governance, lineage, cataloging, classification, masking, and encryption
- Experience building scalable, high-performance DWH/Data Lake applications
- Experience leading and delivering 1–2 AWS + Snowflake projects
- Understanding of security, DevOps, Agile, and cloud deployment
- Strong troubleshooting, RCA, production support, and automation skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Snowflake/AWS data solutions and integrations
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data models
- Implement enhancements, fixes, and production deployments
- Provide L2 technical support and perform root-cause analysis
- Automate processes and develop tools to improve reliability and customer experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Refactor existing solutions and guide development teams on best practices
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Platform Delivery, and business stakeholders
