**This is an 18-month contract position**
Wage Range: $58,600 up to $70,800 annually
Position Summary:
The Talent Brand Specialist will support and evolve the Arrow talent brand strategy across Canada and the United States. Working in close partnership with the Executive Team and Hiring Managers, this role sits at the intersection of talent attraction, culture storytelling, and brand recognition - where strategy meets results. A trusted strategic partner to the business, bringing insight into internal priorities and external market trends, supporting leaders in making informed, forward-looking talent decisions. Partnering closely with recruiters and hiring teams across all functions, translating unique talent needs into compelling, creative attraction strategies. This role plays a critical part in attracting top talent to the Arrow Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Champion Arrow’s employer brand across North America
- Create and manage compelling talent attraction content across multiple formats (graphics, video, animation), overseeing the full content lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Maintain and optimize a multimedia content calendar across key channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
- Lead continuous improvement of attraction and recruitment tools, templates, and processes (job descriptions, posting practices, interview and screening materials)
- Manage the UKG hiring requisition and posting process
- Leverage recruitment technology to track engagement, optimize campaigns, and improve candidate reach
- Develop and support attraction initiatives such as virtual and on-site hiring events and pre-start onboarding strategies
- Organize and participate in career fairs and events such as Skills Ontario
- Monitor hiring trends and market intelligence across Canada and the U.S
- Track and report on key metrics to measure the effectiveness of Arrow brand and attraction campaigns
- Manage vendor partnerships and related contracts supporting the talent brand portfolio
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects that elevate the Talent Acquisition function and provide ad hoc recruitment support as needed
- Support weekly and monthly KPI’s
Shared Service Generalist Responsibilities with the support of the VP People & Culture:
- Assist with planning and coordinating employee events and maintaining communication boards.
- Support the Progressive Discipline Process.
- Payroll, vacations, leaves of absence support and tracking.
- Conduct the onboarding process – orientation and associated personnel records for all new hires.
- Submit all IT onboarding and offboarding tickets.
- Support the monitoring and tracking of the attendance policy.
- Responsible for all team member files and confidential information.
- Responsible for all team member benefits and workers’ compensation systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
- Performs other duties as necessary in support of the Company’s overall goals.
- Complies with requirements as outlined in the company handbook and OHSA.
- Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (ISO 14001, ISO 9001) certifications)
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Post-secondary education required in a related field such as business marketing, human resources, or technology.
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, employer branding, marketing, or communications
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to translate culture, values, and purpose into compelling talent messaging and campaigns
- Understanding of how candidates discover and engage with employers across channels such as social media, events, career sites, referrals, and early-career programs
- Curiosity and analytical thinking, with interest or experience in using data, social insights, and metrics to optimize attraction efforts
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering across teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment
- Manufacturing exposure is an asset
- Detail-oriented, organized, and growth-minded, with enthusiasm for learning, improving processes, and contributing to a strong employer reputation
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve standing or walking for extended periods, exposure to loud noise, and working in various temperature conditions.
- Occasional lifting or moving of materials or equipment up to 25 lbs.
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, with regular interaction with the operations team and management teams.
- Occasional travel to hiring events, site visits, meetings, and other business-related activities.
