Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and completion of PCB layout designs based on project requirements and priorities.
- Execute high-priority PCB layout tasks in collaboration with the Team Lead.
- Ensure PCB designs meet established quality, manufacturability, and compliance requirements.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles throughout the PCB layout process.
- Review layouts for accuracy, consistency, and readiness for manufacturing.
- Work closely with engineering and other technical stakeholders to address design requirements and resolve layout issues.
- Support design reviews and incorporate feedback or required changes into PCB layouts.
- Contribute to improving PCB design processes, efficiency, and overall design quality.
- Maintain appropriate design documentation and follow established PCB layout standards and procedures.
- Support multiple design priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting project timelines.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PCB layout and board design and understands the importance of developing designs that can be reliably manufactured. They are detail-oriented, comfortable working within established design standards, and able to collaborate effectively with engineering and PCB design teams.
Experience working with DFM requirements, PCB design reviews, and manufacturing considerations will be particularly valuable for this position.
