The opportunity
- Preparing and developing architectural and engineering drawings, models, sketches, and other documents within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) focused environment
- Help handle in-coming and out-going model and drawing information
- Co-ordinating work with other teams
- Address problems that arise in a constantly evolving project environment
- Working directly with engineering colleagues and other specialists
- Ensure accurate Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols are implemented
- Develop software skills vital to be successful in their project assignments
- Project and team administrative duties
Is this role right for you?
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Diploma, or Certificate program in BIM management, civil engineering technology, architectural technology, or equivalent in the built environment
- Students with a Portfolio will be prioritized
- Experience in AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or Revit
- Knowledge of Civil 3D, Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads
- Knowledge of coordination tools: Navisworks, Revisto
- Knowledge of collaboration tools: ACC, SharePoint, ProjectWise
- Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
Preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university or college program. Pursuing Business Administration, Project Management courses/degree or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and other standard applications/software programs and databases (candidates skill level will be assessed)
- Knowledge of SharePoint sites
- Knowledge of, or interest in, automation tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications is a strong asset. An innovative mindset with the ability to leverage technology to enhance efficiency and support digital transformation will be regarded as a plus factor

- Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
- No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
- Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts

Toronto Hiring Range – Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is $72,250 to $74,250 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
