We are currently accepting expressions of interest for Permanent Full-Time Primary Care Paramedic positions at our Thorhild station.
Associated Ambulance has proudly served Albertans for over 40 years and is currently the second-largest ambulance operator in the province. We deliver Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) services across 23 rural Alberta communities. This permanent position operates on a Core/Flex schedule, with a rotation of four (4) days on, followed by four (4) days off.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) program.
- Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACoP) as a PCP.
- Current Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
- Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator’s License with a clean driving abstract (abstract must show no serious traffic safety violations and will be requested).
- Successful completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) within six (6) months prior to the start date.
- Ability to commit fully to the full-time schedule - please disclose any potential conflicts in your Expression of Interest (EOI).
Orientation Dates:
October 5-9th, 2026
December 7-11th, 2026
