We are currently seeking a Program Assistant to join our dynamic team. Ideal candidates should be passionate about serving youth and families and have superior interpersonal and open communication skills.

Location: Hybrid - Head Office in Peel Region

Hours of Work: 35 hours a week
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support such as filing, labels, and creating charts and spreadsheets
- Complete correspondence with workers, as necessary
- Maintain program manuals
- Assist with development and production of statistics and report writing using data from multiple sources
- Review terminated files for completeness
- Maintain resources library
- Respond to the changing needs of programs in a proactive manner
- Provide reception relief coverage, at minimum, two days per week
- Travel, as necessary
Qualifications And Experience
- Secondary school diploma or post-secondary degree/diploma and/or technical school training
- 1 to 2 years of experience in providing administrative support services
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Advanced Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaborate within a team environment
- Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond to issues appropriately
- Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task/prioritize and work under tight timelines
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Sound judgement skills
- Ability to work and act independently using good judgement when assessing difficult situations
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, diplomacy, and discretion
- Fluency in French or other languages is considered an asset
Salary Range: $39,829 - $49,192
