Position Summary
ATCO Frontec is seeking a Junior Proposal Specialist to join the growing ATCO Facility Solutions (AFS) Services team. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, Services, this role will work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Operations personnel, and subject matter experts to develop high-quality proposals and customer submissions for service and construction projects.
This position is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who is interested in developing skills in proposal development, estimating support, project coordination, and business communications. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the preparation of competitive and compliant proposals that contribute to the growth of the AFS business.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Sr. Manager, Project Manager and Estimator in the preparation of proposals, quotations, bids, and customer submissions for AFS service and construction projects.
Gather and organize scope, pricing, schedules, project methodologies, and supporting documentation required for proposal development.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain project experience, staff resumes, equipment information, and technical content.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in proposal coordination, project administration, estimating support, construction administration, or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, estimators, operations personnel, and management.
Experience with estimating software, Salesforce, SharePoint, or proposal management tools is considered an asset.
