We are hiring a Project Manager to join our growing Project Delivery team supporting a major infrastructure upgrade program in downtown Toronto.
Your role
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Support the project leadership team in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project activities, documentation, schedules, deliverables, and interfaces with internal teams, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Track cost, schedule, scope, quality, safety, and earned value performance, including schedule variance, cost variance, and schedule performance indicators, and prepare clear status reports and dashboards.
- Support cost control activities, including budgeting, monthly forecasting, invoicing, estimating, financial tracking, and analysis of project performance and trends.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestone plans, resource forecasts, and FTE plans using tools such as Primavera P6.
- Prepare, review, forecast, and track change orders, scope modifications, purchase orders, and subcontract documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Maintain risk and issue registers, support mitigation planning, and escalate material risks, issues, and decisions to the Senior Project Manager.
- Prepare and coordinate design, constructability, as-built, turnover, and handover documentation, ensuring alignment with engineering requirements, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, track actions and decisions, and provide timely progress updates to project leadership.
- Develop and improve dashboards, trackers, workflows, and reporting processes using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and other project management systems.
- Maintain project records and support compliance with internal quality management, safety, document control, and governance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support delivery across wider project functions as priorities evolve.
About you
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
- Approximately 8 or more years of progressive experience in project coordination, project management, engineering, construction, or project delivery, including experience supporting complex infrastructure projects.
- Experience with contract administration, procurement, subcontract coordination, change orders, design documentation, as-built records, and project handover.
- Experience preparing dashboards, trackers, and management reports using Power BI, advanced Excel, Power Query, SharePoint, or similar tools.
- Experience in rail, transit, consulting, municipal infrastructure, industrial construction, or other major infrastructure programs is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or related engineering software is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project controls, including cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, change control, risk management, estimating, and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, safety, and document control requirements within engineering or construction environments.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder coordination, team leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $110,000 - $130,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
