Role Description The Pharmacy Assistant role at Atlantic-Pharma Relief Inc. is a part-time, on-site position based in Ottawa, ON. The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations by preparing and organizing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, maintaining accurate patient and medication records, and assisting with medication counts and labeling. The role includes managing inventory, stocking shelves, checking expiry dates, and helping ensure that medications and supplies are correctly stored and tracked. The Pharmacy Assistant will also greet and assist customers, handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, and coordinate with pharmacy staff to promote efficient and safe service. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to pharmacy regulations, and a strong commitment to respectful, inclusive patient care.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, including basic pharmacy procedures and prescription processing.
- Ability to accurately handle prescriptions and related documentation while following regulatory and safety guidelines.
