Director of Sales, Trade & Designer Relations
Atriani | Toronto, Ontario
Atriani is looking for an accomplished Director of Sales with an established network and proven book of business within the interior design and architecture community.
This is not a traditional sales leadership role.
We are specifically looking for someone who already has trusted relationships with leading interior designers, architecture firms, high-end developers, custom home builders, purchasing firms, and other key decision makers within the high end residential and hospitality market.

Our capabilities allow designers to work beyond a standard catalogue, with extensive customization in dimensions, materials, finishes, and product development.
We are expanding our presence across Canada and the United States and are looking for a senior sales leader who can accelerate that growth through established industry relationships.
The Opportunity
The Director of Sales will lead Atriani's trade and designer business, developing major accounts and building long term relationships with leading design firms.
The ideal candidate already knows the firms and designers we want to work with and understands how luxury products are specified, quoted, presented, and ultimately purchased for high value projects.
What You Will Do
• Leverage your existing book of business to introduce Atriani to leading interior designers, architects, developers, and luxury residential professionals
• Develop and manage relationships with key design firms and strategic accounts
• Generate significant new project opportunities through your existing network
• Position Atriani as a preferred furniture resource for luxury residential and hospitality projects
• Build relationships with principals, design directors, senior designers, procurement teams, and other specification decision makers
• Identify upcoming projects early and work with designers throughout the specification and purchasing process
• Develop strategic partnerships and opportunities within the North American luxury design market
• Lead major account development and high value sales opportunities
• Collaborate closely with Atriani's design, production, marketing, and leadership teams
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with clear revenue accountability
Who We Are Looking For
You are already deeply connected to the luxury interior design industry.
An existing and active book of business is essential for this role.
You should have:
• A strong existing network of high end interior designers, architecture firms, developers, or luxury residential professionals
• A proven history of generating business from your professional relationships
• Significant experience selling luxury furniture, lighting, kitchens, millwork, surfaces, architectural products, textiles, or another premium design related product
• Strong relationships with decision makers at leading design firms
• Experience working on high value residential, hospitality, or commercial projects
• A sophisticated understanding of the luxury client and designer sales process
• Strong presentation, relationship building, negotiation, and closing skills
• The ability to operate at both a strategic and hands on business development level
