Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Audit Assistant to support the Finance team in coordinating and fulfilling external audit and review engagement requests. The successful candidate will assist with gathering, preparing, organizing, and submitting financial documentation and supporting schedules required by external auditors and the parent company's accounting team.
Key Responsabilities
- Assist with gathering and preparing documentation requested by external auditors.
- Prepare and organize supporting schedules, reconciliations, invoices, and financial reports.
- Track audit requests, monitor outstanding items, and follow up on deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain the information and documentation required for audit purposes.
- Maintain organized electronic files and supporting documentation for audit and review engagements.
- Assist with inventory, fixed asset, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounting-related audit requests.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before submission.
- Assist with responding to auditor questions and following up on outstanding requests.
- Perform other audit-related support duties as assigned by the Finance team.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets, formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and financial schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the Finance team.
- Previous experience assisting with external audits or review engagements is an asset.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel, with the ability to efficiently organize financial information, prepare supporting schedules, and manage documentation and follow-ups to support the timely completion of external audits and review engagements.
