ABOUT AUGUST GROUP
August Group is a boutique multi-family office providing integrated wealth planning, tax, estate, and family office services to high-net-worth individuals and families across Canada and the US, including professional athletes and their families.
THE ROLE
The Family Office Associate supports the Head of Wealth Planning by triaging and analyzing base planning scenarios and taking ownership of an assigned portfolio of client households. This is an advisory role rather than an operational one, with client exposure that grows through shadowing the Head of Wealth Planning and executive leadership. Over time, the Associate develops into a relationship manager role across estate, tax, cash flow, retirement, and risk management planning for a sophisticated, cross-border client base.

- Build and maintain client plans, net worth statements, and cash flow projections using August Group's in-house planning tools
- Serve as planning lead for an assigned portfolio of client households, under the oversight of the Head of Wealth Planning
- Prepare for and follow up on client review meetings, translating analysis into clear, client-ready recommendations

- Lead agreed portions of client meetings for assigned households as experience and client trust develop
- Work with clients' external professionals, including accountants, estate lawyers, insurance brokers, and private bankers
- Coordinate with the investment, tax, and operations teams to deliver complete and timely client work
