Aventus Development Corp. is looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist & Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who brings a strong balance of creative design thinking, technical expertise and project coordination experience, and who enjoys taking ownership of work from design development through construction.
You will work primarily across high-rise residential developments including potential hospitality developments, collaborating with ownership, consultants and internal teams to translate design vision into coordinated, practical and buildable solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Develop architectural designs and produce coordinated drawings using AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and 3D visualization tools.
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation for permit, tender and construction.
- Support high-rise residential and hospitality projects from pre-design through construction.
- Coordinate consultants and participate in project, consultant and client meetings.
- Track decisions, action items and outstanding coordination items through to completion.
- Apply building code, zoning, by-law and regulatory requirements throughout the design process.
- Balance design intent with budget considerations and identify practical value-engineering opportunities.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and follow-through.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of relevant architectural design/technology experience.
- Experience with high-rise residential and/or hospitality development; student housing experience is an asset.
- Degree/ Diploma in Architecture or a related architectural program from an accredited institution.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Bluebeam, Adobe and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino or other 3D visualization tools is an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable building codes, municipal zoning, by-laws and approval processes.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate consultants and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Expected Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year. The final salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications.
