As a company in the process of expanding our team, we are looking for a Building Maintenance & Cleaner to contribute to our continued growth and success.
Overview:
The Building Maintenance & Cleaner will be responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and general maintenance of AviSina’s properties. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented buildings. Responsibilities will include:
· Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, washrooms, amenity spaces, entrances, interior office spaces, and residential homes as required
· Complete routine cleaning, garbage and recycling removal, and general upkeep of interior and exterior areas.
· Perform basic maintenance and repairs, including light bulb and filter replacement, touch-up painting, patching, caulking, and other general handyman tasks.
· Monitor properties for maintenance issues, damage, leaks, or safety concerns and report issues as required.
· Assist with suite preparation, move-in/move-out cleaning, contractor access, and other property-related activities.
· Maintain cleaning and maintenance supplies and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications/Experience:
· 3+ years in building maintenance, commercial cleaning, property maintenance, or a similar role is required.
· Basic knowledge of general building maintenance and handyman work.
· Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, well-presented properties.
· Good communication, organization, and time management skills.
· Ability to safely use common cleaning products, tools, and maintenance equipment.
· Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation is an asset.
· Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and building maintenance.
