- Translate user stories and functional requirements into technical designs, estimates and maintainable solutions.
- Build and troubleshoot integrations with external systems using REST APIs and appropriate authentication methods.
- Work with Salesforce objects, relationships, validation rules and automation to support reliable business processes.
- Apply Salesforce security controls, including sharing, permissions and field-level security, when designing and implementing solutions.
- Write meaningful unit tests, review code and address performance issues, bulk processing and governor limits.
- Investigate defects and production issues, identify root causes and document fixes clearly.
- Support releases across development, test and production environments using source control and established deployment practices.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and client teams during testing and UAT, and provide technical guidance when requirements or priorities change.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to improvements in development standards and delivery practices.
What we are looking for
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flow.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, platform architecture and security model.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting integrations, including REST APIs and authentication.
- Ability to design bulk-safe solutions and work within Salesforce governor limits.
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, source control and deployment practices.
- Ability to assess when to use configuration, automation or custom development to meet a requirement.
- Experience delivering Salesforce changes through development, testing and release activities.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical options and trade-offs to business analysts and client teams.
- A collaborative approach, sound judgment and ownership of the quality of your work.
Nice to have

- Experience with data migration, data quality and integration tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CLI, automated deployments or CI/CD pipelines.
- Salesforce Platform Developer certification.
- Experience working in a consulting environment or across multiple client projects.
