As our business continues to grow, We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual starting their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of accounting operations. The successful candidate will support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, account reconciliations, collections, month-end close, and general accounting functions.

What You’ll Do
Accounts Payable
· Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
· Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation.
· Prepare and process payment runs.
· Investigate and resolve vendor payment discrepancies.
· Perform Accounts Payable reconciliations and maintain vendor records.
Accounts Receivable
· Prepare and process customer invoices.
· Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records.
· Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
· Assist with Accounts Receivable collections while maintaining positive customer relationships.
· Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
General Accounting
· Prepare and post journal entries.
· Perform monthly account reconciliations, including bank and general ledger accounts.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
· Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
· Support audits and provide documentation as required.
· Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned.
· Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Experience with SYSPRO ERP software is preferred.
- Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Pursuing or interested in pursuing a professional accounting designation (CPA) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Must be willing to work full time in office
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
What We Offer
· Pay CAD $55,000- $65,000 based on experience
· Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday (8 am to 4:30 pm)
· Benefits Group benefits after successful completion of 90-day training and alignment period.
· Location 19402 – 54th Ave Surrey, transit accessible.
· 2 weeks of paid vacation to start plus 5 sick days as needed.
