Interested? We are looking for our next Customs Clerk to join our Canadian Customs team at our Québec office!
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data entry and computer systems? Do you enjoy collaborating with a team and providing quality service to internal and external clients? This position could be for you.
Reporting to the Team Lead, you will perform a variety of clerical and data entry duties in support of the Canadian Customs Department and internal teams.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Open and update customs files
- Accurately enter data into the various operational systems
- Follow up on customs files
- Support team members with various clerical duties
- Respond to questions and requests from internal and external clients
- Communicate the information required by the various stakeholders involved in processing files
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure files are processed efficiently
- Perform any other related duties requested by the Team Lead
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
- Ability to communicate effectively during routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information
- Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet-based tools
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data management
- Ability to create and edit documents in Word and professional presentations in PowerPoint
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to clearly provide and receive routine, factual work-related information
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work with colleagues who have different areas of expertise toward shared objectives
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail when entering data and following up on files
The following would be considered assets:
- Understanding of customs documentation
- Approximately 1 year of relevant professional experience in a similar role
- Ability to apply acquired knowledge to resolve straightforward issues and follow established procedures under supervision
This position also offers opportunities for career development within our Canadian Customs team, including progression toward a Junior Customs Release Specialist or Junior Customs Specialist role.
