In collaboration with Accounting and Operations, review completed project information to identify estimating trends, production efficiencies, cost variances, and opportunities to improve future estimates.
Assist with maintaining historical project and costing information to support future tendering and budgeting.
Develop an understanding of how field productivity, actual project costs, and historical performance can be used to improve future estimates.

Suppliers & Materials

Assist with obtaining current material pricing, availability, lead times, and technical information from suppliers and supply-chain partners.
Develop and maintain working relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Assist with reviewing specified materials for availability and suitability.
Where products are discontinued, unavailable, outdated, or impractical, work with the Estimating team and suppliers to identify potential alternatives or substitutions for review.
Support value-engineering initiatives by helping identify alternative materials or construction approaches that may provide cost or schedule benefits.
