This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in presentation, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. As a Lot Attendant, you’ll play an important role in keeping our vehicle inventory organized, properly merchandised, presentable, and ready for our customers and sales team.
We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and develop within the business, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities as they gain experience.
What You’ll Do
As a Lot Attendant, your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing and maintaining new and used vehicle inventory on the dealership lot
- Moving and parking vehicles safely as required
- Keeping vehicle display areas clean, organized, and presentable
- Ensuring vehicles are properly lined up and ready for customer viewing
- Capturing quality photos and videos of vehicle inventory for online merchandising and promotional purposes
- Assisting with vehicle merchandising, including ensuring inventory is accurately and professionally represented online
- Supporting social media content needs by capturing engaging photos and videos of inventory and dealership activities
- Assisting with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and inventory movement
- Performing regular lot walks and helping identify missing or incorrectly located vehicles
- Installing and removing dealership plate covers and other vehicle materials as required
- Keeping showroom and display vehicles clean and presentable
- Clearing snow, debris, and other obstructions from vehicles and lot areas when required
- Assisting the Sales and Service departments with vehicle movement and other operational needs
- Performing other dealership duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including both automatic and manual transmission where applicable
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable taking quality photos and videos using a smartphone or similar device
- Social media savvy and comfortable creating or capturing engaging visual content
- An eye for presentation and an understanding of how vehicles should be displayed and merchandised
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically able to perform an active role that involves walking, standing, bending, and moving throughout the day
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- A desire to build a long-term career and grow and develop within the Bannister Automotive Group
- Previous automotive, dealership, merchandising, photography, or social media experience is an asset, but not required
