Description du poste
Our Hosts create a positive guest experience! They maintain an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity and communicating with all employees. They share with Guests their passion for food, beverage and hospitality. Hosts leave a lasting impression with all guests through their professionalism and attention to detail.
The day to day:
- Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner
- Manage reservation and walk-in traffic using Open Table
- Monitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area
- Answer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodations
- Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approach
- Assist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or in a guest-facing hospitality role is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Calm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable using reservation and table management systems (OpenTable) - preferred
- A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Valid Smart Serve Certification Required
- Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- This is an AM position
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

- Expérience préalable en tant qu’hôte ou dans un rôle en contact direct avec la clientèle en restauration ou hôtellerie est un atout
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en organisation

Requirements
Previous hosting or other guest-facing hospitality experience is an asset, along with strong communication and organizational skills, a calm and proactive approach, and a passion for guest service. A valid Smart Serve certification and legal eligibility to work in Canada are required; availability for flexible shifts is expected, and this is an AM position.
