We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Team Lead, Global Master Data to drive the strategy, governance, maintenance, automation, and continuous improvement of global master data processes across the organization.
The Global Team Lead, Global Material Master Data drives the strategy, governance, maintenance, automation, and continuous improvement of global master data processes across the organization. The role ensures the quality, compliance, and operational excellence of global master data managed within SAP S/4HANA and the STIBO Master Data Management platform. It also leads the establishment and development of a dedicated Business Excellence team focused on process standardization, automation, performance management, and continuous improvement.

As a Global Team Lead SC Material Master Data, you create chemistry by...
- Defining and implementing the global master data strategy in alignment with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
- Establishing and maintaining global governance frameworks, data ownership models, standards, policies, and controls.
- Ensuring the compliant and accurate creation, maintenance, enrichment, and lifecycle management of master data across SAP S/4HANA, STIBO, and connected systems.
- Driving the global harmonization and standardization of master data structures, attributes, processes, and supporting documentation.
- Partnering with business stakeholders, IT, and process owners to align data governance practices and implement scalable solutions for global operations.
- Defining and monitoring data quality metrics, KPIs, and service levels, while implementing proactive monitoring, remediation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensuring master data processes comply with regulatory, financial, supply chain, and business requirements.
- Developing and executing a roadmap to automate master data creation, maintenance, validation, and governance processes using SAP S/4HANA, STIBO, workflow technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and digital tools.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify and automate processes across the master data value chain to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Establishing, building, and leading the Business Excellence team and the global SC Material Master Data team, including defining team objectives, structure, roles, responsibilities, operating models, and performance measures.
- Fostering a culture of operational excellence, innovation, accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Coaching and developing team members in data governance, regulatory compliance, and digital solutions through effective talent management and succession planning.
- Driving global process excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies, where appropriate, and leading cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, productivity, and data quality.
- Developing process documentation, governance frameworks, training materials, and global standards.
If you have...
- Hold a master’s degree and have 8 years of overall experience, hold an advanced scientific qualification, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Bring 5–10 years of relevant experience in your area of expertise.
- Have proven experience leading and developing teams, typically managing 6–10 direct reports.
- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities combined with deep technical and functional expertise.
- Are able to travel up to 15%, domestically and internationally.
