Role Description The Keyholder role at Bath Depot is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Moncton Metropolitan Area. The Keyholder supports daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, securing the premises, and ensuring adherence to company policies. In this role, the individual assists customers on the sales floor, provides product recommendations, and helps maintain an organized, visually appealing store environment. The Keyholder processes transactions, handles returns and exchanges, and supports inventory tasks such as restocking and pricing. This position also helps guide team members during shifts, fosters a positive customer experience, and contributes to sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong Retail Sales and Customer Service skills, with the ability to support customers throughout the buying process.
- Ability to deliver a positive Customer Experience, including attentive service, problem-solving, and follow-through.
- Solid Communication skills for interacting effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Demonstrated Product Knowledge or willingness to learn about bathroom fixtures, accessories, and renovation solutions.
- Previous experience in retail or a similar customer-facing role; keyholder or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Reliability in handling keys, cash, and closing/opening procedures, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency.
