Role Description This part-time, on-site Salesperson role is based at Bath Depot’s store in Edmonton, AB. The Salesperson will greet customers, assess their needs, and recommend suitable bathroom products and solutions that align with style, budget, and functionality requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include demonstrating product features, answering questions, preparing quotations, and supporting customers through the purchase and order process. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized showroom, restocking shelves, and ensuring accurate product labeling and pricing. The Salesperson will collaborate with team members to meet sales targets, handle basic point-of-sale transactions, and uphold Bath Depot’s standards of customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to welcome customers, identify needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Basic product knowledge and interest in home improvement or bathroom renovations, with the ability to learn and explain product features and benefits.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers, listen actively, and present options clearly and respectfully.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, maintain showroom appearance, and support inventory upkeep.
- Comfort with point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and basic computer use for orders, pricing checks, and stock inquiries.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as moving boxes, stocking shelves, and arranging displays.
- Previous experience in retail, home improvement, or customer-facing roles is an asset but not mandatory.
- Availability to work a part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
